The band Cinema noir was formed in 2011 with Giuseppe D'Angelo on bass and electronics; Alex Valenti, Leonardo Vetrano and Marco Manzella on guitars and Gery Mallia on drums. After a few months, Nostress released their first EP "Children kill ants" receiving very good reviews and suddenly winning the award as best work at the first edition of the "Perceptions Music and Image" festival; in July 2013 the award as "Artist of the week" on "Sounday music" and selected for Sounday Music Compilation distributed on all global digital stores. The band also was selected for the event "A week for the Europe" obtaining a radio broadcasting through a selected circuit comprising more than 100 radio stations throughout Europe.
Winners of "Mirto Rock Contest" 2014 headliner of the same festival and winners of the "SHU! Music contest" in the same year. Now in July 2014, Nostress Netlabel releases the new album "cold feet for others backs". This new album is in conjunction with a new line-up; Andrea Chentrens on drums and Simone Alvich on guitar replace Marco Manzella. Electronics, distortion, delay, straight rhythms and dilated arpeggios, featuring new songs, a clever mix between the classic post rock sounds and constant beats, obsessive leads, pure electronic mode. Cinema noir is instrumental because sometimes words are not necessary.
