On July 14, every single netlabel around the world is invited to join us in the first Netlabel Day ever, and you can be part of this. A netlabel works on the Internet to let you know about the best independent music, and for supporting independent musicians from all over the world… So it is time to celebrate it! Release free and independent music in high quality format from many participating labels from all around the world. Also a lot of unsigned and independent artists that will be releasing new and original stuff too, so there’s a lot of free music coming! It doesn’t matter if you like rock, electronic, noise or whatever. All styles are invited and every netlabel too.

Psychische Revolution” is the new album by Empirical Evidence, a solo project by the multi-instrumentalist from Palermo, Aldo Ammirata. The album comes out on the day of Net Label Day and represents Nostress Netlabel. It will take place at the boundless areas of the web and there will be a collective exchange of unprecedented unpublished music, which will bring enrichment to the archives of all those who will participate in this wonderful and important initiative. The album consists of five tracks full of refined, metaphysical and industrial sounds of a post-capitalist Berlin oppressed by the Stasi and divided by a wall close to demolition. A lysergic journey between avant-garde and history, between digital contamination and the search for analogue sounds such as cello, esraj and old tapes. Sound stratifications that outline lights and shadows of a conceptual path that deserves careful listening.
