After a first track on the compilation 2015, now comes a real debut for the duo Mammut nel Caos from Marsala (Italy) composed by Angelo Barraco, multi-instrumentalist and originally one-man band in the year 2011 and Nicol Paladino as vocalist. Dissonance without conventional schemes is the main goal of the band, who chooses a precise way, strictly low-fi, essential in the choice of instrumentation and particularly incisive, deliberately provocative with an innate sense of wanting to be intentional bumping with an unconditional support of samplings that in their compositions vomit violently a strong sense of social unease, resignation and loss of conviction for a different future and / or south ability for burying atavistic and indigenous monsters. The album "Morbus Sacer Vol.1: Ordo ab Chao" should be listened to in one breath. Singing, weeping, wailing and dirge are integral parts of one project that is spread over several schemes and sees Nicol Paladino actively participate especially in studio sessions while Francesco Tripoli plays drums / rhythm, sampling and electronics programming “on stage”. The moniker Mammut nel Caos embodies two concepts as order and chaos that are seemingly the antithesis of the other one, but which coexist daily in the human psyche.
