Monumental Dump Remixes

Art Electronix is a project that includes two main participants: Eugene and Catherine from Ukraine, who play cross-genre electronic music that can be described as a journey into the depths of minimalism, analog overdrive and electrical digital clicks, crunch capacitors, high voltage transformers buzzing, sometimes suddenly turning into a drum machine mechanically dance rhythm or classic magnifier hip hop bits, and then returning back to the sound of loose vacuum ambient.  When creating their audio paintings the musicians try to convey images of industrial landscapes of the city.

After "raw", a single track for NN compilation Vol.4 and "Peaceful Atom", this new album "Monumental Dump Remixes" is devoted to various social topics, such as environmental pollution, environmental disasters, consumerism, human weaknesses, such as greed and hoarding. Regularly experimenting in different areas of experimental electronic music the duo has amassed a decent discography. The band's work has been influenced by genres such as glitch, noise, idm, ambient, techno, minimalism, break-beat and jungle. At this stage the project's creativity can be described as the study of different kinds of music created from loops. Great interest and inspiration cause experiments and reflections on the themes: space, mysticism, catastrophes, computers, programming, field recordings, psychedelia, militarization, mind-machine, electronic musical instruments, their creation and modification, noise-boxes, circuit electronic circuits, unexpected artifacts of sound equipment, all kinds of damage, white noise, crosstalk, distortion, lamp, analog and digital technology,  as well as the study of mental landscapes and psycho-biological processes.
